Chapati / Roti Chips - Leftover ka Makeover
 
Hello everyone..Today I am going to share leftover ka makeover recipe.Most Indians eat chapati / roti on daily basis. We don't give it too much importance, but we should stop underestimating the humble roti. Not only can it be eaten for every meal, it can also be eaten in more ways than the traditional roti-sabzi combination. So the next time you have some leftover, don't throw it away. Just transform the roti into more than just the humble bread you thought it to be. This recipe is very quick and easy recipe. You can enjoy it with tea and can be served with sauce or dip of your choice. You can go through my video recipe in HINDI by just clicking the video link given at the end of the post. I have share oven method also. I hope you will try this out and let me know how it came out. Here goes the recipe:

Preparation Time: 2 Min
Cooking Time: 4 Min
Serving: 2

Ingredients:
  • Leftover Chapati / Roti - 2
  • Chaat Masala - to sprinkle
  • Oil - to fry

Method:
  • Cut chapati in long strip shape. You can cut in any shape like chips shape, strip shape or any other of your choice.
  • Now heat oil in a pan.
  • When it get heated , then put chapati strips in oil and fry till it becomes little brown and crisp.
  • After that put off the flame and transfer fried chapatis to a plate.
  • Just sprinkle some chaat masala over it and toss lightly.
  • Enjoy chapati chips with sauce or dip of your choice.

Oven method:
  • Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  • Brush each piece of chapati chips with oil, and sprinkle with spices of your choice.
  • Bake for about 5 minutes, till they get brown and crispy.
